TIAA Sr. Director-Talent Management Lead in Dallas, Texas

Talent Management Practice Lead

The Talent Management Practice Lead is responsible for talent management programs and processes that are critical to TIAA's success. This role is responsible for designing, deploying, and executing talent management practices and is accountable for ensuring adoption by leaders and associates across TIAA. This role works closely with senior leadership and key stakeholders to understand enterprise talent management needs and translate them into programs and processes that are in alignment with TIAA's overarching strategy.

Key Responsibilities and Duties

  • Develops and implements comprehensive talent management programs and processes aligned with TIAA’s mission and vision.

  • Drives adoption of talent management programs and processes throughout the organization, working closely with leadership teams to ensure consistency and alignment.

  • Collaborates across the People Team and other functional areas to develop tools, information, and resources that enable successful implementation and adoption of talent management programs and processes.

  • Builds strong partnerships with key stakeholders across the organization, including executive leadership, to influence decision-making and drive change.

  • Monitors and assesses the effectiveness of talent management programs and processes, leveraging data and feedback to continuously improve and refine our approach.

  • Acts as the primary advisor to Sr. Leadership on matters related to talent management programs and processes, providing guidance and support as needed.

  • Serves as a role model of our values, leading by example, and inspiring others to live our principles in their daily interactions.

  • Performs other related duties of a comparable level / type as assigned.

Educational Requirements

  • University (Degree) Preferred

Work Experience

  • 5+ Years Required; 7+ Years Preferred

Qualifications:

Required:

  • 5 years of functional expertise in talent management, organizational dynamics, and change management methodologies

Preferred:

  • 7 years of functional expertise in talent management, organizational dynamics, and change management methodologies

  • Exceptional communication skills

  • passion for developing and implementing strong talent management practices aligned to TIAA’s mission and vision

  • Visionary thinking

  • Strategic planning capabilities

  • High Degree of autonomy, self-direction, and relationship building to foster meaningful cross-functional partnerships with key stakeholder groups across the enterprise

Anticipated Posting End Date:

2024-10-16

Base Pay Range: $140,000/yr. - $185,000/yr.

Actual base salary may vary based upon, but not limited to, relevant experience, time in role, base salary of internal peers, prior performance, business sector, and geographic location. In addition to base salary, the competitive compensation package may include, depending on the role, participation in an incentive program linked to performance (for example, annual discretionary incentive programs, non-annual sales incentive plans, or other non-annual incentive plans).
