Description We are in the process of expanding our team with a Sr. Accountant in Dallas, Texas. The role involves comprehensive management of financial reports, account reconciliations, and leading the monthly close process. It also entails project leadership, sales and inventory accounting, ensuring compliance and process improvements.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the accurate and timely preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.

• Conduct detailed account reconciliations to uphold the integrity of general ledger accounts.

• Spearhead and manage the monthly close process, including preparing and reviewing journal entries and account reconciliations for prepaids, accruals, sales, and inventory.

• Lead accounting projects and implement process enhancements to boost efficiency and accuracy in financial reporting.

• Manage sales and inventory accounting, ensuring accurate revenue recognition and compliance with accounting standards.

• Guarantee compliance with accounting policies and regulatory requirements, and maintain robust internal controls over financial processes and reporting.

• Collaborate with other departments to provide accounting support and insights.

• Identify and implement opportunities for process improvement within the accounting function to optimize operations. Requirements • Proficiency in Account Reconciliation is required

• Must have experience with Balance Sheet Reconciliation

• Familiarity with Bank Reconciliations is essential

• Experience in maintaining General Ledger is necessary

• Ability to prepare Journal Entries is a must

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is required

• Experience in conducting Month End Close is essential

• Familiarity with NetSuite software is a plus

• Knowledge of Oracle software is necessary

• Proficiency in SAP software is preferred
