Are you energized to drive adoption of generative AI and machine learning technologies at AWS customers and scaling your efforts through other specialist sellers? AWS is seeking a Go-To-Market (GTM) Specialist to define, build and lead the business development efforts to scale adoption of key components of Amazon SageMaker in North and Latin Americas. As a GenAI GTM Specialist you will be responsible for defining, building and deploying targeted programs to accelerate adoption of Amazon SageMaker in Americas.
Be the outward face of AWS generative AI and machine learning by defining and executing go-to-market initiatives for Amazon SageMaker in Americas. You will be working hand-in-hand with specialist sellers that focus on AWS AI/ML portfolio in North and Latin America.
Key job responsibilities
You will work closely with your peers in WW team to take Sales Plays, customize and optimize them for Americas and drive adoption of SageMaker components through these sales plays. You will help create and run scale campaigns and GTM motions, uncover new GenAI and ML managed service opportunities specific to fully managed SageMaker offering, track and prioritize execution of deal pipeline and launch of key SageMaker opportunities and revenue conversion of launched opportunities in Americas. You will educate and enable regional AI/ML specialist sales and AWS account teams on where and how to identify new opportunities for SageMaker and how to execute these sales motions across Americas. You will be engaging directly with key customers and system integration partners in Americas on a daily basis to understand their needs in generative AI and machine learning managed services and, as their trusted advisor, position the right sales plays and help them adopt the right SageMaker Service capabilities. You will synthesize data and information gathered from these customers and partners to refine your GTM strategies for Americas and share these insights with world-wide SageMaker team to help influence SageMaker sales plays and service prioritization. This entails garnering impactful customer and market insights, communicating those findings to SageMaker WW Specialist and Service teams.
The candidate will possess business development experience in positioning and driving adoption of machine learning, deep learning, or generative AI products/services. They will have experience in driving engagements and interactions directly with customers at the highest levels of large enterprises and technology partners. The candidate will have technical background and business experience to communicate the benefits of using managed ML services in AWS to ML platform engineering, data science and business intelligence teams with Directors, VPs of these teams and with C-Level executives and earn trust with them. They will have used this background to launch and drive scale campaigns and sales plays with broader field teams to drive product/service adoption at scale. Finally, the candidate will have experience in, and be passionate about enabling specialist sellers and field teams on how to position and sell products/services in machine learning, deep learning, or generative AI with strong IDE offerings.
A day in the life
The candidate will drive engagements and interactions directly with customers at the highest levels of large enterprises and technology partners. They will utilize their technical knowledge and business experience to communicate the benefits of using managed ML services in AWS to ML platform engineering and data science teams with Directors, VPs of these teams and with C-Level executives. They will work with colleagues in the team to understand how to drive sales plays and jobs to be done messaging, tools and assets and provide feedback to them on the effectiveness of these mechanisms. They will enable field AI/ML specialist, partnership and account teams on these assets, conduct customer webinars, track pipeline, revenue and revenue conversion trends at key customers/customer cohorts, and device scale campaigns to drive revenue growth and opportunity pipeline. They will lead monthly calls with specialist AI/ML Sellers to discuss revenue and deal pipeline trends, key customer insights, product issues/gaps and communicate this back to the team. They will work with account teams and customers to help secure commitment for public references. Finally, they will magnify the impact of their work, by sharing insights with peers and Leadership utilizing Amazon’s business writing practices.

Basic Qualifications
5+ years of professional or military experience
Experience managing programs across cross functional teams, building processes and coordinating release schedules
Degree in a highly quantitative field (Computer Science, Machine Learning, Operations Research, Statistics/ Math etc.) or equivalent experience.
5+ years of business development and/or technical pre-sales roles at B2B companies (Enterprises, Startups, Management consulting or System Integration Services Companies, preferably in Analytics, IoT, ML, AI).
Go-to-market experience in driving adoption of new products/services/features across a large customer base with demonstrable results delivered.
Experience in managing multiple campaigns simultaneously and working across multiple functional teams (Product, Marketing, SAs, Specialist Sellers, account teams).
Experience managing, tracking, and communicating subjective and objective business performance, risks and projections.
Experience in advocating on customers behalf by understanding their pain points, helping customers navigate through technology options and adoption challenges, and conveying insights back to product teams.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $133,200/year in our lowest geographic market up to $220,200/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
