Job Summary and Qualifications
The Regional CFO is responsible for multiple surgery centers within Surgery Ventures Group. This position is responsible for the integrity of the balance sheet and income statement, business office operations, revenue and expense management, financial planning, and acts as the financial advisor to the center administrator, Vice Presidents of Operations, and the Regional SVP.
General Responsibilities:
Supervision of the regional accounting and financial staff
Communication and enforcement of company policies and procedures
Maintain compliance (legal, regulatory)
Preparation of monthly financial statements and supporting documentation
Assist centers in management of expenses
Mentor business office managers
Monitor business office results and assist in development of action plans to improve
Monitor Central Business Office Operations
Prepare quarterly cash flows
Timely and accurate communication to limited partners
Approve partnership transactions
Approve capital expenditures
Prepare accurate budgets and assist in preparation of center business plans
Financial/Operational advisor to center administrator, Vice President of Operations, and Regional VP’s
Job Requirements:
Accounting/Finance Degree, CPA/MBA preferred
Minimum of six years experience, with at least two in healthcare
Need excellent communication skills and be able to interact with corporate, hospital, hospital division, and surgery center staff, as well as physician limited partners
Proficiency with Excel and other financial tools
Physical Demands:
Travel is required
