Uber Program Manager, People Data Implementation in Dallas, Texas

About the Role

The mission of the People Data & Analytics team is to help our business and employees thrive by providing actionable insights curated through analytic products and services. In this role, you will be program-managing a global system transformation from a data and reporting perspective. Getting the data right will be critical for a successful company-wide implementation.

What You'll Do:

  • Ensure strategic alignment by aligning projects with business objectives and goals

  • Reduce project silos and identify opportunities for transparency in collaboration

  • Ensure the team you are supporting is focused on high-priority tasks and weighing impact of ad hoc required deliverables into the existing roadmap

  • Create project plans, organize core teams, and track progress and milestones to ensure successful launch of any new data processes and analytics solutions

  • Own communications and make change management recommendations

  • Proactively identify risks to project execution and develop mitigation plans

  • Provide clear status updates regularly to varying audiences

  • Proactively help solve problems within all stages of the project - including data exploration, requirements gathering, solution design etc.

Basic Qualifications

  • 4+ years of experience in program design, program management, and project management using tools such as JIRA, Asana, etc.

  • Oracle system experience, preferably through an implementation or transformation

  • Bachelor's Degree

Preferred Qualifications

  • Excellent facilitation skills - the ability to tactfully navigate conversations and keep the group on track using tools such as Mural, LucidChart

  • Consistent track record of successfully leading large-scale global projects.

  • Organization & Execution - able to manage multiple work streams concurrently for yourself and others; able to scope and execute a project from start to finish; strong attention to detail that helps you carry out tasks flawlessly

  • Stakeholder management - able to communicate with and influence a variety of stakeholders (executive, cross functional, internal team) and understand when and how to loop them in

  • Self-starter attitude - you boldly pursue your work and love the responsibility of being personally empowered

  • Flexibility - adapt to ever-changing situations quickly and effectively while maintaining positive attitude; an open mind to new ideas; willing to challenge status quo

For Chicago, IL-based roles: The base salary range for this role is USD$112,000 per year - USD$124,000 per year. For Dallas, TX-based roles: The base salary range for this role is USD$112,000 per year - USD$124,000 per year. For all US locations, you will be eligible to participate in Uber's bonus program, and may be offered an equity award & other types of comp. You will also be eligible for various benefits.
