Job Description:
This position is dedicated to investigating Earth’s high-latitude electrodynamics and their impact on the global ionosphere and thermosphere. The role involves extensive data analysis from satellites (e.g., DMSP , AMPERE ) and ground-based instruments and general circulation modeling (e.g., GITM ).
Minimum Qualifications:
Ph.D in a related field.
Preferred Education and Experience:
Ph.D. in physics, space physics or related fields. Candidates need to have substantial experience in the ionospheric electrodynamics and general circulation modeling. Additionally, the candidate needs to be familiar with data analysis. Moreover, the candidate needs to be familiar with Fortran and Python/Matlab/ IDL .
