Do you enjoy talking to people and being the first point of contact when a Patient walks in? A client of ours in the Medical industry is looking to hire a front desk receptionist! In this role you will be responsible for checking in/out patients at the front desk. Greeting incoming visitors, scheduling patients for future appointments, routing incoming calls to the correct person/department etc.

Responsibilities

• Checking in and checking out patients

• Answering phones

• Scheduling appointments for audiology and speech pathology

• Registering patients in the system

• Verifying insurance information

• Contacting patients to confirm appointments

• Entering referrals into the system

• Creating charts and files for future appointments

• Taking payments, co-pay, deductibles, and due balances

• Sending out referrals that come to us - making sure they have the referral in place and calling the patients to schedule the appointments

  Requirements

Requirements

• 2+ years of medical reception experience

• Knowledgeable in medical terminology

• Proficient in Microsoft Office
