Cartamundi Master Planner in Dallas, Texas

The Master Planner will be responsible will work with a cross functional team to organize and prioritize print and packaging projects 3 to 12 months in advance. The Master Planner will determine and balance the future need for raw materials and capacity to meet company goals.
What you’ll do as a Master Planner :
Create and maintain detailed master production and material plans for the product lines to use in driving Material Requirements Planning (MRP) and planning production capacity to support S&OP
Ensure components and materials are available for production as per schedule
Forecast capacity constraints and work with the cross functional team to implement solutions
Update produced volumes and machine hours with scheduling team
Partner with estimating to streamline reports / info required for the capacity plan
Perform lead time analyses for material and assembly requirements.
Partner with Account Management, Purchasing and Manufacturing to assure that materials and production processes are aligned to consistently meet or exceed delivery, quality, and financial requirements
Work closely with the operations leadership and account management to support new product introduction and product redesigns
Provide insight to schedule trends and make recommendations for process changes, equipment purchases, or estimating observations
We’re for a Master Planner with:
3 - 5 years of experience in manufacturing –printing preferred
Project management experience is a plus
Proficient in (MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and SAP
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Knowledge and understanding of the Supply chain process within a manufacturing environment
Knowledge and understanding of planning as a function, its effect on purchasing activities and how purchasing/supplier actions affect the production plan

Our manufacturing Plant is comprised of enclosed office and manufacturing space. This position requires the ability to:
Move throughout the entire facility to attend to various issues
Work effectively in teams across functional groups with strong communication skills and the ability to lead
Perform sedentary work on various computer systems
This Master Planner position is located on-site in our Dallas, TX facility
