Summary
The Freeman Company is searching for the next great talented problem-solver in an HR Technology Optimization Director to oversee the implementation and daily operation of our HR Technology systems. Under the umbrella of the HR Shared Services function, the HR Technology Optimization Director will be responsible for driving the strategic direction and vision of the HR Technology function with enthusiasm and passion to bring big ideas to life. The HR Technology Optimization Director will establish organizational goals, partnering collaboratively with key stakeholders within the broader HR organization and business leaders. The role will oversee the successful implementation of various projects company wide as well as providing effective ongoing maintenance and administration. The HR Technology Optimization Director will ensure that the team is staffed with the proper resources to provide expert solutions on how to leverage Freeman’s HCMS to meet the strategic and operational needs of the business. This position will work collaboratively with process owners and other organizational stakeholders to assist in the design, configuration, and testing of various modules within SuccessFactors and SAP. The position will also work to ensure the proper alignment is in place to effectively share knowledge and support end users.
The successful candidate will possess in-depth knowledge of HR-related software and databases and ensure that the HCMS is up to date and compliant with legal and company requirements. In addition to having excellent written and verbal communication skills, the successful candidate will provide line of sight into project work, effectively plan delivery of issue fixes and release enhancements and support project deadlines while providing strong guidance and communication to the business.
This position will support our Human Resources team. It is eligible to work a hybrid schedule, generally requiring work in-office and/or show-site 2-3 days per week. The ideal candidate will be located in Dallas, TX; however, we are also open to candidates based out of:

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Lead People Technology team including, but not limited to hiring, training, performance management, and mentorship.
Evolve the HCMS technology portfolio and roadmap in partnership with our HR COE leads, IT and Business Operations leads, and other key stakeholders across the business.
Develop playbooks and tactics to inform, persuade, influence, direct and facilitate a successful partnership between HR Technology and the broader Freeman enterprise.
Development and maintenance of HCMS connectivity with other Freeman internal systems and external providers.
Work with internal controls and compliance to develop and maintain data audit and validation tools to enhance data accuracy and build trust.
HCMS management related to day-to-day process support activities and periodic release impacts.
Development and maintenance of SuccessFactors system connectivity and integration with other Freeman internal systems and external providers.
Development of HCMS training and orientation for internal delivery.
Maintenance of HCMS system configuration documentation, data governance models, and scorecards.
Evaluate HCMS requirements on an ongoing basis with a focus on continuous improvement, simplification, and impact/value creation.
Steward the company’s purpose, values, and culture.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Education & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Information Technology or a related field from an accredited university or college is required.
A minimum of seven (7) years’ experience in an HRIS manager or equivalent position.
A minimum of five (5) years’ HRMS system implementation/deployment and change management experience is preferred.
Technology Skills - Practical Experience with cloud-based HR database administration, including interfaces with other internal and external partner systems. Experience developing reports and calculated fields in SuccessFactors is a plus.
