Robert Half HR Generalist in Dallas, Texas

Description

We are offering a contract employment opportunity for an HR Generalist in Dallas, Texas. The HR Generalist will handle a high volume of employee inquiries and assist with various HR functions in a fast-paced environment. This role will be primarily transactional and will require proficiency in using the Workday system.

Responsibilities:

• Handle a high volume of employee inquiries on a daily basis.

• Assist with employee transfers, promotions, leaves, retirements, new hires, and compensation requests.

• Comfortably handle a large backlog of cases and questions.

• Utilize Workday system for frequent adjustments and use specialized features when necessary.

• Provide additional support to the existing HR team that is handling a high volume of cases.

• Utilize robust problem-solving skills to address and resolve issues.

• Maintain excellent communication skills to effectively interact with employees and team members.

• Pay keen attention to details in all aspects of work.

• Demonstrate flexibility and reliability in managing various tasks simultaneously.

• Administer benefit functions, compensation administration, and compliance.

• Manage employee relations, Workday HRIS, short term disability/long term disability, leave of absence, new hire orientations, and onboarding.

• Oversee compensation & benefits and service desk tickets.

Requirements

• Proven experience in HR Generalist role

• Proficient in Benefit Functions and Compensation Administration

• Strong understanding of Compliance and Employee Relations

• Experience with Workday HRIS and Workday

• Knowledge of Short Term Disability/Long Term Disability procedures

• Familiarity with Leave of Absence policies

• Ability to conduct New Hire Orientations and Onboarding

• Understanding of Compensation & Benefits

• Ability to handle Service Desk Tickets

• Exceptional interpersonal skills

• Excellent communication and organizational skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or relevant field

• Professional certification in Human Resources (e.g. PHR, SPHR) is a plus.
