This innovative firm is a large American energy company primarily focused on power generation and retail electricity services. The company operates a diversified portfolio of electricity generation assets across the United States, including both fossil fuel-based plants (like natural gas and coal) and renewable energy sources (like wind and solar).

They are seeking a skilled .NET Developer with expertise in .NET Core, C#, and SQL to join their software development team. In this role, you will work closely with a team of developers, engineers, and business analysts to build and maintain high-performance applications that support our power generation and retail energy services. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of backend systems, be passionate about clean code and software architecture, and have a commitment to continuous learning and improvement.

Required Skills and Experience

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field

• 6+ years of professional development experience in .NET frameworks

• 4+ years of professional experience deploying into the Azure Cloud

• 2+ years of professional development experience with front-end frameworks (Angular/React)

• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and containerization

• Familiarity with one of the major non-relational databases (MongoDB, CosmosDB)

Responsibilities

• Collaboration with cross-functional teams

• Design, develop, test, and maintain high-quality software applications using .NET frameworks

• Write clean, scalable, and efficient code with a focus on performance and reliability

• Work closely with product managers, business analysts, and stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements

• Stay updated with the latest advancements in .NET technologies and contribute to the adoption of new tools and processes
