Front End QA Engineer

Our client is looking for a QA Engineer to join their team on a contract basis.

They are looking for an engineer that has 6+ years of QA experience in doing front-end enterprise application tests on Mobile and Desktop Web. In this role you will be responsible for creating automated unit tests and integration tests with Jest, React Testing Library, and creating visual regression tests with Applitools and Playwright. They are also looking for knowledge around creating continuous integration pipelines using GitHub Actions, Jenkins, Azure as well as knowledge in TypeScript, NodeJS, Webpack, Rollup, React Context, CSS, CSS-in-JS, and Storybook.

Contract Duration: 6+ Months

Hybrid onsite responsibilities in Dallas, TX.

Required Skills & Experience

• 6+ years of QA experience with an overall 6+ years of experience in doing front-end enterprise application tests on Mobile and Desktop Web.

• Experience creating automated unit tests and integration tests with Jest, React Testing Library

• Experience creating visual regression tests Applitools and Playwright

• Knowledgeable in creating continuous integration pipelines using GitHub Actions, Jenkins, Azure

• Knowledgeable in TypeScript, NodeJS, Webpack, Rollup, React Context, CSS, CSS-in-JS, Storybook

• Attend agile team meetings, provide work estimates, participate in code reviews, pair coding, prepare demos, provide technical documentation, and participate in on-call rotation to support incidents in production.

• Bonus Skills include – Content Management System experience and/or Ecommerce experience
