Food Service Worker II – Full Time Days

We’re looking for qualified food service workers to join our Texas Health family. Is that you?

Work location: Texas Health Dallas, 8200 Walnut Hill Ln. TX 75231

Work hours: Full Time, Rotating weekdays and every other weekend with afternoon Availability (12:45-8:45)

Here’s What You Need

  • H.S. Diploma or Equivalent preferred

  • Restaurant/Customer service/Healthcare experience preferred

  • FHC - Food Handlers Certificate 30 Days required

What You Will Do

  • Washes and sanitizes dishes, pots and pans as well as all cooking utensils and cooking equipment, according to department standards and procedures.

  • Serves food on the cafeteria and patient tray lines, utilizing good customer skills when serving patron

  • Assembles, deliver and retrieve patient trays

  • Performs simple food assembly such as preparing salads, portioning and garnishing foods according to instruction

  • Ability to learn HACCP sanitation guidelines and follow for safe food handling.

  • Maintains assigned areas and equipment in a safe, clean, neat, and orderly manner to meet/exceed both department and TDH sanitation standards in both department sanitation and personal hygiene.

  • Disposes of trash and garbage according to standards and procedures
