Position Title: Financial Analyst III

Location: Dallas, Texas

Position Responsibilities: Partner with business leadership to provide strategic guidance and analytic/decision making support for evaluating and prioritizing projects or initiatives. Work closely with cross-functional business leaders across the Last Mile organization and internal Amazon businesses allowing for future opportunities to expand scope. Have regular interaction with senior leadership and stakeholders across Amazon. Operate with a high degree of autonomy and demonstrate a high degree of comfort with ambiguity besides holding a high bar on professional integrity. Hire, develop, and retain the best talent. Use solid financial knowledge and business acumen to build financial models, interpret data, draw conclusions, and make recommendations that deliver results, drive improvements, and influence leaders throughout Amazon. Educate business partners on financial and non-financial trade-offs and provides guidance and financial analysis for new projects and initiatives. Make thoughtful judgement calls in ambiguous environments where data may be scarce or difficult to procure. Identify opportunities to resolve defects proactively. Improve, scale, or simplify finance tools across teams and organizations. Innovate by building creative, socially responsible, last mile logistics solutions through large-scale data driven decision making. Influence business owners, support thoughtful decision-making, and adapt to a rapidly evolving environment. Collaborate with senior leaders and various business units across Amazon.

40 hours / week, 8:00am-5:00pm, Salary Range $123,302/year to $163,200/year.

Basic Qualifications

Position Requirements: Master’s degree or foreign equivalent degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, or a related analytical field and three years of experience in the job offered or a related occupation. Employer will accept a Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, or a related analytical field and five years of progressive post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered or a related occupation as equivalent to the Master’s degree and three years of experience. Must have three years of experience in the following skills: 1) experience with Advanced Excel, including V-Lookup, Macros, Pivot Tables or Array functions; and 2) experience with advanced data analysis tools including experience with SQL, PowerBI, Tableau, Python or related tool. Partial telecommuting permitted; employees will be required to report to office multiple days per week. #0000
