Job Description:
The Jindal School of Management at The University of Texas at Dallas seeks to fill a staff position for the Director of Web Infrastructure and Services.
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the school’s web infrastructure and services. The responsibilities as the Director of Web Infrastructure and Services include the design and development of complex software architecture for mobile and web applications, writing algorithms for core functionality of complex software projects, designing layouts, coordinating with UT Dallas Web Services to ensure that all the UT Dallas policies and requirements are met, managing a team of direct reports, monitoring performance, developing plans for professional development, and conducting annual reviews.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree and 5 years of related progressive experience.

Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field.
Five (5) years of designing, implementing, and supporting web-based solutions, managing technical staff, and managing multiple concurrent large-scale web services projects.
Ability to evaluate the UI/UX elements of the web pages and develop recommendations for continuous improvement.
Hands-on experience with custom web development with a skill set that includes working knowledge of CSS , HTML , Web Scripting, SEO , and styling techniques.
Hands-on experience with development platforms like WordPress and languages like PHP , Node.js, JavaScript, etc.
Demonstrate accessible and usable Web page design.
Hands-on experience with the architecture of web applications, with knowledge of database-enabled portals.
Good understanding of version control, hosting, web backup management, and site mapping.
Excellent communication, customer service, project management, and problem-solving skills.
Possess a thorough understanding of managing and creating multiple complex websites and Web applications.
