Job Title : Data Engineer - Advanced Analytics Team (Wholesale Organization)

PDS Tech Commercial, Inc. is seeking an experienced Data Engineer to join our Advanced Analytics team under the Wholesale organization. This role will focus on designing and building ETL pipelines to migrate data from SQL Server to Databricks, optimizing data workflows, and supporting the data science team with scalable solutions.

Job Type: Full Time (12 months)

Location: Dallas, TX

Schedule : 40 hours/week

Pay Rate: $59.39 – $63.48

Key Responsibilities:

• ETL Pipeline Development: Design and build efficient ETL pipelines to migrate data from SQL Server to Databricks. Focus on accuracy, scalability, and performance optimization.

• Data Transformation & Validation: Manage data transformation in Databricks, ensuring data integrity, consistency, and quality.

• Collaboration: Work with cross-functional teams to optimize curated tables for analytics and reporting purposes.

• Monitoring & Troubleshooting: Oversee data workflows, troubleshoot performance, reliability issues, and resolve data anomalies.

• Documentation & Support: Document processes, provide technical support for maintenance, and enhance Databricks environments.

Required Qualifications:

• 2+ years of experience as a Data Engineer or similar role.

• Proficient in SQL and Python .

• Strong experience designing and implementing ETL pipelines.

• Familiarity with Databricks ETL , data modeling, and warehousing.

• Understanding of data workflows, integration, and machine learning infrastructures.

Preferred Qualifications:

• AWS Ecosystem: Experience with AWS tools like Glue , Athena , S3 , Lambda , IAM , SageMaker , CloudWatch , and API Gateway .

• Data Processing & Frameworks: Expertise in PySpark , Apache Spark , Airflow , and Delta Lake .

• Experience with Teradata SQL , MS SQL , IBM DB2 , or similar databases.

• Experience with streaming data and event-driven architecture .

• Experience in continuous integration and deployment of scalable data systems.

• Previous experience working with a data science team .

• Telecom or ISP-related data experience is a plus (e.g., fiber networks, customer interactions, billing data).

Pay Details: $59.39 to $63.48 per hour
