Description We are in search of a Controller to join our team in Dallas, Texas. This role is centered around the management of general accounting work, including Accounts Receivable/Accounts Payable and job costing. As part of our team, you will be instrumental in ensuring compliance with financial regulations, managing cash flow, and fostering a culture of financial responsibility and accountability.
Responsibilities:
• Oversee general accounting tasks, including AR/AP, job costing, and General Ledger postings for projects.
• Compile and prepare monthly and quarterly financial results in a timely and accurate manner.
• Ensure adherence to all financial regulations and prepare necessary filings.
• Monitor and manage cash flow and liquidity to support our financial stability.
• Implement effective cash flow projections and manage working capital.
• Analyze project cost and profitability, ensuring expenditures align with project budgets to maximize positive cash flow.
• Oversee the preparation of the annual tax return process, liaising with third-party tax accountants.
• Maintain and improve our financial software systems and tools.
• Enhance efficiency and accuracy by streamlining financial processes.
• Lead a team of financial professionals, fostering a trusting and productive environment.
• Cultivate a culture of financial responsibility and accountability within the team.
Skills required:
• Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) Solutions.
• Solid understanding of accounting functions including Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR).
• Familiarity with Auditing and Budget Processes.
• Experience in using ADP - Financial Services and DCAA. Requirements • Must have a strong understanding of Accounting Software Systems
• Experience with ADP - Financial Services is preferred
• Knowledge of DCAA regulations and guidelines
• Proficiency in ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning
• Familiarity with ERP Solutions
• Ability to handle all Accounting Functions
• Experience with Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)
• Auditing skills are required
• Must be able to handle Budget Processes efficiently
