The Mexican Design District, LLC Chef in Dallas, Texas
2 Chefs needed in Dallas, Texas to utilize culinary skills to develop recipes and determine how to present dishes using local and seasonal ingredients. Execute menu items according to establishments standards and quality guidelines. Coordinate with kitchen team members in food preparation, contribute creative ideas for daily and seasonal specials. Check the freshness of food and ingredients and inspect supplies, equipment, and work areas for cleanliness and functionality. Assist with ordering and maintaining the inventory. Monitor sanitation practices and follow kitchen safety standards.
High School Diploma/GED with minimum of 24 months of experience as a Chef or Cook. Alternatively, an Associate degree in Culinary Skills or related field required. Position requires 40-50 hrs/week with open availability to work nights, weekends and holidays.
