Description Job Summary:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Accounts Receivable Manager/Supervisor to join the team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the accounts receivable function, recording deposits in Yardi, reconciling accounts using Excel, generating invoices, and ensuring accuracy and efficiency in all financial transactions. The role requires the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, work independently with minimal supervision, and collaborate effectively with team members. This is a hybrid position, offering the flexibility to work both remotely and on-site as needed.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage the accounts receivable process from invoicing to collection, ensuring timely and accurate recording of transactions.

• Record and reconcile deposits in Yardi accounting software, maintaining up-to-date and accurate financial records.

• Perform regular reconciliations of accounts receivable balances using Excel spreadsheets, investigating and resolving any discrepancies.

• Generate and distribute invoices to customers in a timely manner, following up on outstanding balances as needed.

• Collaborate with internal teams to address billing inquiries, resolve payment discrepancies, and facilitate timely collections.

• Monitor accounts receivable aging reports and take appropriate actions to minimize outstanding balances and improve cash flow.

• Prepare regular reports and analysis of accounts receivable metrics, providing insights to management for decision-making.

• Develop and implement process improvements to streamline the accounts receivable function and enhance efficiency.

• Ensure compliance with company policies, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements.

• Mentor and supervise accounts receivable staff, providing guidance, training, and support as needed.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field- preferred but not needed

• Proficiency in Yardi accounting software and advanced Excel skills for data analysis and reconciliation.

• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial concepts.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

• Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

• Ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.

• Self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision.

• Prior experience in real estate or property management accounting (preferred).

Flexibility to work a hybrid schedule, balancing remote and on-site work as required.
