Job Overview

Provided day-to-day oversight and direction for Customer Service Representatives and Workforce Administrators within the department. Provide expert guidance to PeopleSoft HR users.

Essential Functions

• Manage staff in accordance with company's policies and applicable regulations. Responsibilities include planning and assigning work; appraising performance and guiding professional development; motivating employees; establishing employee training needs; providing training; and advising manager of employee relations issues. Approve actions on human resources matters.

• Assign work to Customer Service Representatives and Workforce Administrators. This includes but is not limited to the following: data input into PeopleSoft HR; input into HP Service Desk tool for transactional processing and customer service support; filing of employee records; audits of transactional activities including quality assurance validations; creation and update of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and ad hoc projects.

• Ensure that activities performed by designated staff adhere to SOPs and Service Level Agreements.

• Ensure that staff comply with data confidentiality procedures and standards.

• Identify, initiate and implement continuous process improvement projects.

• Provide consistent and fair service to customers.

• Foster an environment of teamwork, entrepreneurialism and a spirit of cooperation within the team.

• Liaise with HR Business Solutions team regarding PeopleSoft HR upgrades and impacts on HR PSC team and training manual updates and maintenance.

• Act as first point of contact regarding PSHR enhancements such as new upload processes.

• Manage special projects and ad hoc activities as assigned by HR PSC management.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree Req

• 3 years experience in HR or HRIS experience Req

• 1 year in a customer service role Req

• 1 year in a supervisory role Req Or

• Equivalent combination of education, training and experience Req

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

• Strong personal computer and keyboarding skills

• Proficient in use of Microsoft Office applications

• Strong organizational skills

• Effective project management skills

• Ability to analyze data and recommend and/or implement solutions to operational problems

• Ability to identify process improvement opportunities and implement change effectively

• Ability to cope with a high workload

• Ability to work independently and within teams

• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with coworkers, managers and clients
