Job Summary and Qualifications

What you will do in this role:

• Under the general supervision of the Director of Cardiopulmonary, you will provide comprehensive respiratory care to include basic respiratory care, cardiopulmonary resuscitation, arterial blood gas, electrocardiograms.

• You will demonstrate teamwork, adaptability, and serve as a resource to the patient care team.

• You will have accountability for delivering quality respiratory services and for promoting a positive image of the department.

• You will abide by all rules, directives, policies, and procedures, and perform miscellaneous duties as assigned.

What qualifications you will need:

• Currently enrolled and has completed at least 6 months in AMA approved Respiratory Therapy program concurrent with clinical phase of education.

• BLS with AHA or American Red Cross required

• 1 year of experience is a hospital setting is preferred.

• Current BLS Certification is required

• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
