Job Title: Maintenance Technician

Job Description

We are seeking an all-around general maintenance/facilities technician who is energetic, agile, and not afraid to get dirty. This role involves a wide range of tasks from machine preventive maintenance (PM) to basic facility upkeep, snow removal, landscaping, and construction projects that require manual labor. The technician will interpret blueprints and schematics, work with electricity ranging from 110v to 480v, and be responsible for preventive maintenance on machinery. Additionally, the technician will grease machines and use hand and power tools.

Responsibilities

• Assist with machine preventive maintenance.

• Perform basic facility upkeep including snow removal and landscaping.

• Engage in construction projects requiring manual labor.

• Interpret blueprints and schematics.

• Work with electricity ranging from 110v to 480v.

• Perform preventive maintenance on machinery.

• Grease machines.

• Use hand and power tools.

Essential Skills

• Experience as a maintenance technician.

• Knowledge of maintenance repair and maintenance documentation.

• Electrical skills including electrical wiring.

• Mechanically inclined with mechanical assembly experience.

• Experience with hand and power tools.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Military experience is a plus.

Work Environment

Our top priority is to maintain a culture where people want to come to work and work hard. The position is for the 1st shift, with 10-hour days from Monday to Friday, and some Saturdays. We offer a flexible start time between 6am and 8am. The work environment is a clean, climate-controlled job shop that handles a lot of work for the defense, medical, and food processing industries.

Job Type & Location

This is a Permanent position based out of Kent, Ohio.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $45760.00 - $62400.00/yr.
