Job Description:
Connectivity Services Administrator? Nature of the work: Installation and administration of network and connectivity services applications and systems in addition to new technology research, analysis, and reporting.
Required Duties and Tasks Expected Business Results:

Continuous improvement of delivered connectivity services, processes and service levels
Effective change management practices to ensure aligned integration of network systems Capability
Documentation that allows additional Information Technology professionals understanding of infrastructure and support
Remain current, install and maintain network hardware and system applications with no negative impact on business capability
Proactive monitoring of network systems to identify issues before they impact business capability Innovation
Discovery and installation of new to connectivity technology that improves performance, integrity and security
Essential Job Duties: Key activities that a person in this role engages in with frequency or criticality
Design and build solutions following cybersecurity best practices (e.g. segmentation, zero trust, secure passwords, etc.)
Recommends connectivity architecture improvements due to technology end of life/industry direction, capacity 'headroom' and changing enterprise needs
Maintains and improves connectivity service levels and availability for installed infrastructure
Develops, implements and monitors processes and associated measures, both quantitative and qualitative, designed to ensure consistent quality operations and service
Manages connectivity service vendors to ensure quality and service levels are met, including maintaining service contracts
Assists with designs and the implementation of connectivity architecture and services * Develop and monitors adherence to connectivity services disaster recovery and business continuity plans
Monitors service level reporting
Development and ongoing maintenance of connectivity services documentation
Coordinates internal and external resources, as needed, to meet changing enterprise priorities
Acts as a change agent; mentor and coach others to maximize effective use of resources, expand organizational knowledge and achieve results
Stays up-to-date with the latest trends in infrastructure connectivity and service delivery and integrates best practices as appropriate Duties may also include:?
Participating in, and/or conducting evaluations of new technologies that require or impact infrastructure architecture and/or connectivity performance
Providing technical expertise to enterprise-wide teams
Accountabilities: Service levels for network system availability are met during core and non-core business hours; Project planning, benchmarks and deadlines; Current documentation of network architecture, processes, and services; Network hardware/software maintained at vendor-supported levels; Implementations of changes to the network are managed, planned, tested to ensure no negative impact on business capability; respond to network issues during on-call assigned hours; update production network during scheduled monthly maintenance.
Minimum Technical Qualifications Education and Experience: BA/BS in Information Technology or related Field or a combination of applicable education and work experience. 5 years of Information Technology experience, with at least 2 years of experience in connectivity services
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Knowledge: ? Experience with Manufacturing Automation systems, software, and equipment ? Experience with the following technologies required - Windows network operating system, Microsoft Windows, Internet firewal
