Job Overview and Responsibilities

Syensqo is creating its internal Global Business Services (GBS) to cover Finance, Procurement and Human Resources activities. We offer you to work in a dynamic and collaborative environment and to contribute to this group’s transformation.

Join us in one of our 3 service centers: Lisbon, Curitiba, and Bangkok, be part of this transformation journey from the start.

Our People and Service Support team is integrated in the GBS HR Service Line, located in Lisbon and Bangkok center and part of the People Services, Learning & Development & Workforce Data Administration Service Unit.

As a People Service Support Specialist, you will be mainly accountable for:

  • Provide 1st response and resolution to the inquiries and demands from internal and external service users via ticketing and call system

  • Support translation and review of materials in contract, training content, communication content or other documentations

  • Support part of contract management for TA and/or Performance & Talent Team

  • Maintain accurate and timely employee records

  • Ensure Success Factors Employee Central Records

With your scope, we count on you:

  • As a People Service Support Specialist, you will work on solving technical problems regarding strategic HR processes, propose improvement ideas for the processes and deliver solutions to the required HR requests to support employees, managers and the HR family. You will get the opportunity to contribute to the high level service standards and have a positive impact on the business and employee day-to-day queries.

  • You will be accountable for:

  • Provide a prompt and effective response and solutions to the demand and inquiries from internal/external users.

  • Propose, support or lead the initiatives and projects in process and performance improvement

  • Proactively listen, analyze and solve user escalations or other daily issues.

  • Update databases with information provided by internal customers.

  • Check integrity/validity of data and authorization of information providers.

  • Follow up, collaborate and communicate with HR peers and stakeholders to ensure employee’s satisfaction

  • Support the process lead and SU manager on performance reporting

  • Ensure the compliance of deliverables to laws, regulations, policies and processes.

  • Ensure the timely performance and actions on internal or external audits and control tests.

Education

Relevant education degree or equivalent in HR, Data Management or similar

Must have skills

  • Fluent English (Additional languages are a bonus, German, Portugues, French, Italian, Chinese)

  • Good communication skill

  • Make-it happen altitude

  • ​​​​​​User orientation mindset

  • Attention to detail

  • Ability to work collaboratively

  • Ability to work in different timezone
