In this role, you will have the opportunity to join a team building applications, frameworks, and system-level experiences for hundreds of millions of users across the Apple ecosystem. The Instructional Products team is looking for an Engineering Manager with a strong multidisciplinary, technical background, to lead a team building software for all of Apple's platforms.
Description
In this role, you will be responsible for planning and driving execution of multiple simultaneous engineering initiatives. Your ability to inspire team members, work closely and build relationships with cross-functional teams, and ability to deliver high-quality projects on time will be the keys to your success.
Minimum Qualifications
Experience leading a team. Ability to provide guidance, direction, and supervise the day-to-day function of a team of Software Engineers.
7 or more years of professional work experience in software engineering, building and delivering customer-facing applications and/or frameworks.
Extensive experience in scoping, scheduling, and resourcing multiple complex projects alongside cross-functional partners, ensuring alignment and timely delivery.
Demonstrated ability to bring a customer experience focused mindset to software development.
Outstanding communication skills (oral, written, and interpersonal), including the ability to communicate technical concepts to a non-technical audience.
Key Qualifications
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
5 or more years working in an engineering management capacity.
Experience identifying high-impact use cases and applying machine learning technologies to deliver scalable, customer-facing solutions.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with frequent context switching.
Proven track record of driving quality engineering and automation best practices across an engineering team.

At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $190,700 and $329,600, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple’s discretionary employee stock programs.
