We are looking for a Software Development Engineer, with a desire to "automate all the things," and identify areas that can be vastly improved with automation, and provide well-documented, well-tested, and well-written software solutions. You will join the Carrier Technologies team within the Wireless Technologies and Ecosystems Engineering organization and drive innovation that matters. We are responsible for successful launches of Apple Products on Wireless Operator Networks worldwide.

Description

We are looking for an individual who can thrive in a fast-paced workplace where both individual drive and team collaboration are the keys to success. The individual should be passionate about automation and data-driven engineering. The candidate should have a strong background in development with excellent programming, problem solving and software quality assurance practices.

Minimum Qualifications

  • BS in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent work experience

  • Experience working in Software Quality Assurance on iOS or similar

  • Proven experience creating test plans for new products and features

  • An enthusiasm for user-focused design and shipping high-quality technology.

  • Creative thinker and strong problem solver with meticulous attention to detail.

  • Passion for debugging difficult problems and driving results with multi-functional teams.

  • Excellent communication skills to facilitate close interaction with development teams, management, and other organizations within Apple.

  • A passion for health and health-related technology is a plus.

  • At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $143,100 and $264,200, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple’s discretionary employee stock programs. Apple employees are eligible for discretionary restricted stock unit awards, and can purchase Apple stock at a discount if voluntarily participating in Apple’s Employee Stock Purchase Plan.
