As part of the SEO team at Apple, you will be directly responsible for shaping the voice of Apple products in organic search to billions of people. Our SEO presence is an extension of Apple’s marketing — and needs to be at the same level of quality.

Description

  • The position requires a hands-on, get-the-job-done attitude. You understand SEO standard methodologies and can conceive, research, plan, and deliver complex projects that drive the business forward. And you’re great at forming relationships with key partners across the Apple organization. * Responsible for shaping the organic search strategy for Apple products and services across several of Apple’s digital platforms, including but not limited to Apple’s marketing site and online store. * Support a major website re-platforming project and ensure minimal impact on organic search performance. * Manage the organic search feature backlog and bring SEO technical projects from ideation to production with different developer teams at Apple. * Conduct thorough keyword research and competitive analysis to identify opportunities for growth and optimization. * Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including content, marketing, product, and engineering, to ensure SEO requirements are integrated into all digital efforts and product launches. * Monitor, analyze, and report on SEO performance and search trends, making data-driven decisions to optimize and improve campaign performance. * Be part of the working group that will develop a shared set of processes that will define cross-functional operational standards for future platforms. * Create and maintain relationships with key partners around Apple to advocate for SEO initiatives and secure necessary resources and support. * Contributes to an inclusive environment through respecting each others' differences and having the curiosity to learn. * Demonstrates Apple's values of inclusion and diversity in daily activities.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Minimum of 7 years of experience with SEO for a global brand or digital agency

  • Solid experience managing complex and time-critical technical projects

  • Experience with in-depth keyword and topic research

  • In-depth knowledge of the latest SEO standard methodologies across all significant worldwide search engines

  • Proficiency in SEO tools such as Google Search Console, seoClarity, Ahrefs, and Screaming Frog

  • 10+ years of experience with SEO preferred

  • Bachelor's Degree or related experience working in the technology and/or e-commerce industry

  • Knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and other web development languages

  • At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $143,900 and $216,900, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple’s discretionary employee stock programs.
