American Woodmark Materials Stocker, 3rd Shift in Cumberland, Maryland
A Material Stocker uses industrial equipment in handling and transferring material.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Accurately interpret pallet paperwork and labels
- Maintain familiarity with plant layout and stock locations
- Safely use a pallet jack in performing various tasks
- Enter plant receipt reports into computerized database
- Receive and stock materials in correct locations
- Identify all cabinet parts, components, and stock locations
- Maintain a safe work environment, including housekeeping
- Other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS: Required Skills and Abilities:
- Ability to identify cabinet types, wood species, finishes, and color variances
- Ability to identify and process damaged or flawed material in lieu of stocking it
- Ability to use basic math concepts and read a standard tape measure
Required Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or G.E.D.
Required Physical Ability:
- Ability to walk and stand for extended periods of time
- Frequent bending, crouching, pulling, and pushing
- Regularly lift and/or move up to 20lb, occasionally lift and/or move up to 50lb
