Job Description

Insight global is searching for a Senior Software Engineer to join the Game Consoles team at one of our largest digital streaming clients. You will contribute to the development and optimization of our web-based app targeting game consoles like PlayStation, Xbox and Nintendo Switch . You will take ownership of key features and improvements, ensuring high-quality code and performance. You'll collaborate with Engineering, Program Management, Product, and QA teams across the globe to help shape our technology roadmap and achieve our goals. You'll be a part of an international team of 100+ client engineers, where your contributions will help maintain the companies position with the streaming service space.

Skills and Requirements

• 8+ years of experience developing consumer facing web products in JavaScript & TypeScript

   - Experience working on web solutions that services millions of users globally

   - Experience working on living room technologies (OTT, SVOD, AVOD) , gaming consoles (Xbox, Playstation, Nintendo Switch, Roku)

   - Experience working with testing frameworks such as Jest, Cypress and Selenium

   - Familiarity with video related technologies- HLS, DASH, HTML5 Video

   - Have worked with some backend technologies- Node,js and Restful APIs

   - Worked with product and program management to support technology roadmaps and project goals.
