Description
our Legal and Global Security teams at Apple to work with greater ease. To accomplish this, you will be encouraged to efficiently collaborate and connect with large and diverse teams and take part in the ownership, implementation, and maintenance of our designs. This will involve producing and challenging wireframes and user-flows, implementing them with test-covered code, and evolving the codebase alongside community advancements. You will drive the front end of numerous critical solutions as well as own the development. You possess many ideas and a genuine passion for crafting user experiences by developing intuitive, user-friendly interfaces that prioritizes performance, reliability, and simplicity. Your contributions will profoundly impact thousands of users and be pivotal to the efficiency, work happiness and success of our internal teams and key partners. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: - Collaborate with Design, Engineering, Security and other platform and services teams to translate stakeholder needs into actionable technology solutions, ensuring reliable and robust integration with efficient results. - Develop, test, deploy, and support front end solutions to ensure they meet Apple’s high standards for efficiency, functionality, accessibility, and user experience. - Lead the scalable component library and design system, ensuring that all components meets Apple brand guidelines and accessibility standards, as well as regular validation with users. The ideal candidate will demonstrate exceptional communication skills, a commitment to excellence, and a passion for innovation. You should bring a proactive mindset and a track record of delivering pixel perfect, accessible user interfaces that enhance user experience and operational efficiency.
Minimum Qualifications
5+ years industry web development experience using React, Redux, Node.js, HTML, CSS, Web Services
Demonstrated expertise in both headless and non-headless CMS platforms
End-to-End Web application development experience
Experience designing, developing, and supporting highly scalable design systems
Knowledge of WCAG Accessibility standards and best practices
Bachelor's Degree in an engineering-related field, or equivalent related experience
Key Qualifications
Preferred Qualifications
Knowledge of Design, UX, UI principles
Experience with CSS pre-processing frameworks (Sass or Less)
Good knowledge of APIs and REST architecture
Experience with a modern front end build tool, e.g. Webpack

At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $135,400 and $204,000, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple’s discretionary employee stock programs.
