Job Title: Electro Mechanical Maintenance Technician

Job Description

The Electro Mechanical Maintenance Technician will be responsible for repairing and maintaining all molding and facility equipment. This includes troubleshooting and repairing electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and other mechanical systems within the molding department. The role involves working with automated robotic systems, ultrasonic welders, and injection molding machines (IMM). The technician will also be responsible for maintaining work orders, completing documentation, and ensuring all reports are updated in the system. Additionally, the candidate will test electrical systems and circuit conduits, assist engineers with installations and validations of new equipment, and make improvement suggestions to leads and managers.

Responsibilities

• Repair and maintain all molding and facility equipment.

• Troubleshoot and repair electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and other mechanical systems.

• Work with automated robotic systems, ultrasonic welders, and injection molding machines (IMM).

• Maintain work orders and complete documentation.

• Ensure all reports are updated in the system.

• Test electrical systems and circuit conduits.

• Assist engineers with installations and validations of new equipment.

• Make improvement suggestions to leads and managers.

• Lead the 3rd shift and communicate updates to the 1st shift team.

• Problem-solve issues during night shifts.

Essential Skills

• 6+ years of maintenance experience in plastics (medical, pharma, or consumer) or food/food packaging.

• Experience with molding equipment and basic hydraulic and motor repairs.

• Electrical troubleshooting and basic wiring (PLC, control logic).

• Documentation and reporting experience.

• Experience with ohmmeters, voltmeters, oscilloscopes, and gauges.

• Computer skills and exposure to documentation and work order systems.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with medical device molding equipment.

• Experience with equipment installation.

• Ability to read and understand blueprints.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $65000.00 - $80000.00
