General Laborer

Job Description

We are looking for a general laborer with forklift experience to work in our warehouse/production environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for lifting 40-60 pound bags of concrete into the mixing machine, unloading shipments, keeping the area clean, and assisting the production team as needed. Additional responsibilities include performing routine maintenance such as recharging batteries, lubricating, fueling, and cleaning equipment.

Responsibilities

• Assist the production team as needed

• Perform routine maintenance tasks including recharging batteries, lubricating, fueling, and cleaning equipment

Essential Skills

• At least 1 year of experience working in a warehouse environment

• Comfortable lifting 40-60 pounds daily

• Willing to work overtime

• Must have own method of transportation as there is no public transportation nearby

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Forklift experience

• Flexible to work 60 hours per week and 10-hour days

• Willing to work on Saturdays

Work Environment

This is a Contract position based out of Crofton, Maryland.
