NW Industrial Staffing is currently seeking a Automotive Mechanical Assembly Technician for an automotive manufacturer that supplies vehicles for emergency management services. This is an exciting new opportunity in Creswell for individuals who enjoy problem solving, building, and have worked in the automotive industry or similar industry where documentation is a key component to success. What we are seeking: 2 to 4 years mechanical repair or assembly. Experience in assembling mechanical, hydraulic, and some electrical systems. The ability to read blueprints and schematics. Utilize mechanical knowledge and schematics to complete assembly projects accurately. Apply shop math skills and electrical experience to troubleshoot and resolve assembly issues. Overhead crane experience The ability to ream BOM\'s and do quality checks on finished machinery. Experience with diesel engines and hydraulic and electrical components. Ability to lift 50+ lbs on a semi-consistent basis. Can stand, stoop, bend, push and pull for a 10-hour shift Operate forklifts and use hand tools to facilitate assembly processes. Mig welding experience is preferred. A can-do attitude and work effectively and efficiently with other team members, the customer, and with the engineering staff. A safety-first attitude. Great attendance, punctuality, and work ethic. JOB DETAILS: Location: Creswell, OR.
