CNC Machinist

Currently hiring a CNC machinist in the Crest Hill, IL area. Hiring immediately.

Pay: $25-$34/HR

Shift: 1st (8AM-4PM) Flexible 7AM start time occasionally.

Description:

• Program, set-up, and operate all CNC machines (Brands include Mazak, Hurco, Okuma, Heidenhan).

• Program machines using both conversational and non-conversational programs (online and offline with the person or PowerStation software).

• Machine parts based upon customer-specific blueprints and drawings.

• Perform inspections using measurement tools such as micrometers and calipers.

• Work with Fanuc and Fagor controls.

• Work with carbon steel, stainless steel, aluminum, and bronze metals.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

• CNC programming

• Job shop experience

• Set-up/operate machines

Work Environment:

The machining facility is extremely heavy duty, operating in a job shop environment capable of machining parts from less than an inch in diameter to large components in excess of 20 tons.
