Emerson Service Manager UK&I in CRAWLEY, United Kingdom

As the Service Manager you will be responsible for management of warranty and after-sales service interventions at customer facilities, installation of new machines at customer facilities, technical support provided to customer to tackle issues with maintained machines. Provides training on operation of machines to customers, quotations to customers and application trials in LAB. Looking forward seeing your application!

IN THIS ROLE YOU WILL:

  • Management of Service Engineers, Department Administration, preparation of quote, reporting.

  • Communication with customers.

  • Organization of service interventions.

  • Supports the customers to solve the technical issues - mechanical, electrical, pneumatics, hydraulics, and machine operation.

  • Collaborates with other departments to tackle any customer issues.

  • Participates and supports the customer acceptance of the machines.

  • Provide to the organization (experience from provided services, repetitive issues).

Who You Are:

You serve as a strategic partner to build, grow, and maintain profitable and long-lasting relationships with key accounts. Readily action new challenges, without unnecessary planning. Deliver messages in a clear and concise manner.

FOR THIS ROLE YOU WILL NEED:

  • Degree or equivalent experience in relevant engineering field.

  • Ability to understand technical documentation.

Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:

  • Experience in SIEMENS Simatic S7 programming.

  • Microsoft Office proficiency.

  • English to a working level.
