POSITION SUMMARY:

Amentum is currently seeking an experienced Training/Development Assistant to join our dynamic team. In this role you will play a crucial role in creating engaging and effective learning experiences for our employees and clients. This position is contingent upon contract award.

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The Training and Development Assistant will be providing support to the MEW team, providing consultation to assist in the definition of training design for functionality within the training system.

Additional duties may include:

• Collaborate with subject matter experts to analyze learning needs and design instructional materials.

• Interact directly with the training system and codify domain knowledge for use by Subject Matter Experts and instructors.

• Develop e-learning courses, training modules, and multimedia content.

• Validate the expectations of the resulting system during the design and test phases of the project.

• Create assessments, quizzes, and interactive activities to reinforce learning.

• Creation of training standards and objectives in-line with company or government standards, and ensuring content aligns with learning objectives.

• Stay current with industry trends and best practices in instructional design.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

• A minimum of (6) years of experience in Instructional Design, Education, or related field.

• Strong project management skills and attention to detail.

• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.

• Experience working in a corporate or education setting.

• Moderate level of experience in the following skills:

o Learning Models Expertise / Learning Management Systems

o Visual Design

o eLearning Development

o Cultural Competence

o Adult Learning Theories (ADDIE)

o Writing Learning Objectives

· Security Vetting: This position requires the applicant to obtain and maintain a DoD Clearance. Applicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.

DESIRED EXPERIENCE:

• Bachelor’s degree in Instruction Design, Education, or related field.

• Experience serving in or supporting the Armed Forces with a background in Intelligence or Cryptology.

• Experience utilizing CPM/AIM-LOM Learning Management System
