Overview
Tactical Airborne Sensor Logistician (EO/IR 2025-22295):
Bowhead seeks an experienced Logistician to join our team at the Naval Surface Warfare Center – Crane Division (NSWC-Crane). The Logistician willProvide programmatic and Life Cycle Logistics support for current Electro-Optic Infrared (EO/IR) projects managed by the Electro-Optic Technology Division (EOTD) including programmatic services, procurement documentation development, budget formulation, financial execution and tracking, and technical writing. Contractor shall provide project management support including, but not limited to, the following: coordination of project operations including management of records, schedules, and correspondence; analytical support; deliverables tracking; task management; and support the development of milestones and objectives for current projects.
Responsibilities
Essential functions will include:
Assist in development, maintenance and preparation of briefings, attend meetings, prepare meeting minutes (CDRL A005), research, and prepare responses to action items. Meetings shall include, but not limited to the following:- Quarterly Program and/or Progress Reviews- Milestone Reviews- Financial Reviews- Drawing Reviews / Physical Configuration Audits (PCA)- Configuration Control Board (CCB) Meetings- Logistical / Product Support Meetings- Material Management Meetings- Engineering Change Proposal (ECP) Development Meetings- Reliability & Risk Management Meetings
Provide support in all areas of Integrated Logistics Support. The support includes, but not limited to, the following Logistics tasks:- Development or updates to Maintenance Plans.- Monitor/Manage/Execute Support Equipment Logistics and Rework Programs.- Develop provisioning packages.- Develop and review technical manuals and operations and maintenance procedures.- Develop, maintain, and implement manpower requirements- Review and analyze packaging, handling, storage, and transportation requirements.- Provide asset tracking, asset management, and related support functions including Government Furnished Equipment (GFE) tracking.- Develop and review Depot plans and related documentation- Generate, implement and review Integrated Logistics Support Plans- Develop and implement Engineering Change Proposals (ECP).- Provide Logistics related support.- Maintenance Planning/Supportability Analysis (MPA)- Technical Data (TD)- Program Management (PGM)- Provide documentation and support of depot activation process
Reviewing/Producing Provisioning Technical Data - Provisioning Parts Lists, Design Change Notices, Long Lead Time Item Lists, Interim Support Lists, and Common Repairable Items Identification Listing.
Recommendations regarding range and depth of items stocked
Recommendations for source, maintenance, and recoverability (SM&R) codes
Maintain, update and/or review existing supply support processes
Use product support optimization software for the development and delivery of all Supply Support data.
Determining repair of repairable requirements
Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in related field with fifteen (15) years of experienceproviding logistics support at the Program Office level. Experience should be relevant to the DoD acquisition process including providing full product life cycle support guidance to the business / program office.
In depth operational knowledge in the Government’s Integrated Product Data Management (iPDM) and Navy Enterprise Resource Planning (N-ERP) web-based tools.
Advanced level skills in Microsoft Office software suite - Word, Excel, Outlook, Access, and PowerPoint.
Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of employees and outside contacts.
Strong interpersonal skills and good judgment with the ability to work alone or as part of a team.
Physical Demands:
Must be able to stand, sit and walk for prolonged amounts of time
Must be able to twist, bend and squat periodically
SECURITY CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS: Must currently hold a security clearance at the Secret level. US Citizenship is a requirement for Secret clearance at this location.
