Design To Delivery Inc Contract Analyst in Crane, Indiana

Design To Delivery Inc (D2DInc) is a minority-owned, women-owned small business. Founded in 2001 and headquartered in Bethesda, Maryland, D2DInc provides services to public-sector organizations in the areas of acquisition and procurement support, contract administration and closeout, development and administration of small business outreach programs, training, administrative support, and marketing communications materials. Our customers include civilian and defense federal government agencies.

D2DInc is looking for a Contract Analyst to support the Contracting department at Naval Surface Warfare Center in Crane, IN. The qualified individual will be customer-focused and team-oriented that is able to independently solve complex, analytical problems with innovative approaches and solutions.

Position is hybrid with 2-3 days per week working on base at NSWC Crane and 2-3 days working at home. NOTE: If you are not located in Indiana, your resume will not be reviewed.

This position requires an active Secret clearance.

JOB DESCRIPTION

Duties to be carried out include, but are not limited to:

  • Assist government customers in gathering data and providing reports

  • Interface with customers across departments related to analysis and reporting

  • Compile and analyze data requirements

  • Assess current trends within performance data and forecasting future performance

  • Provide recommendations for process improvement

  • Generate ad hoc reports to support data calls

    QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree in business, finance, or equivalent field

  • 3-5 years of experience in acquisition planning, procurement, and contracting is highly desirable

  • Experience in statistical analysis working with analytics, data and spreadsheets to build reports and make recommendations

  • Experience using MS Excel, MS Power BI, and other Microsoft Suite software used to develop complex queries, manipulate data, and generate reports

  • Strong analytical and organizational skills

  • Proficiency in MS Office products to include Excel, Access, and SharePoint

  • Must have strong verbal communication skills and the ability to work independently and collaboratively

  • Ability to interact professionally exhibiting decorum and discretion at all times

  • Individual must be self-motivated, a fast learner and able to complete tasks with minimal direction and supervision

  • Must be a US Citizen

  • Ability to obtain a Secret security clearance; preference will be given to those who already hold a Secret clearance
