SAIC Computer Engineer in CRANE, Indiana

Description

SAIC is looking a Computer Engineer to support the US Navy in Crane, IN .

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Perform Big Data analysis to obtain predictive analysis, identify indicators of known and emerging failure modes as well as better predict end of life characteristics of lithium-ion aircraft as well as space cells/batteries and chemistries of all batteries.

  • Develop and maintain data pipelines using Power BI, R, Python, SQL, etc. to analyze data and implement quality control checks.

  • Assist other analysts in using these analytic platforms on occasion;

  • Use GitHub and Microsoft DevOps to implement version control of the created code.

  • Present findings, approaches, and processes to the team.

Qualifications

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE AND CLEARANCE:

  • Bachelor's degree and 5 years’ experience; Masters and 3 years’ experience.

  • Must be able to communicate effectively with all levels of personnel and work well independently and as part of a team.

  • Interim secret clearance required to start with the ability to obtain a secret clearance. SAIC will sponsor the process.

DESIRED EXPERIENCE:

  • Use of LabView and MatLab, C++ Prior experience supporting DoD and/or NSWC Crane

  • Degree in Engineering or Computer Science preferred
