DESCRIPTION/RESPONSIBILITIES: Arconic is currently in search of an EHS Engineer to join our Kawneer in Cranberry Township, PA.

RESPONSIBILITIES Primary Responsibilities  * Ensuring that the safety management system progresses to a state of sustainable compliance with all regulatory and Arconic requirements.  * Enhancing the workforce's understanding of safety risk and impacts.  * Providing safety support for all employees.  * Develop and sustain systems to drive compliance, fatality prevention, injury reduction and environmental performance.  * Coaching and providing mentorship to departmental leadership in the execution of their EHS accountabilities.  * Providing technical expertise in new equipment/facilities development by actively participating in Project Environmental Safety Health reviews, audits, and internal self-assessments.  * Analyze data and reports necessary for corrective and preventative actions and identification of gaps.  * Assisting with development and implementation of EHS policy and procedures.  * Develop and conduct EHS related training sessions.  * Investigate EHS incidents and assist in identifying root cause and provide recommendations to prevent recurrence.  * Provide daily safety floor support for process and personnel to assist in deployment of best practices, identification and controls of hazards.  * Support all regulatory requirements and Arconic initiatives that may impact current or production as well as anticipated development projects.    QUALIFICATIONS Basic Qualifications  * Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution in EHS or related field.  * Minimum of 2 years of EHS experience within a manufacturing environment. * Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Verification of employment eligibility will be required at time of hire. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
