TRAPPER MINE ASSOCIATE LEVEL THROUGH SENIOR LEVEL ACCOUNTANT in Craig, Colorado
POSITION: Associate Level through Senior Level Accountant.
DUTIES: Maintain financial data, assist with month end closing and financial reporting. Maintain general ledger, fixed asset, and other accounting systems as required. Assist with financial audits. Assist with the preparation of the annual budget and ten (10)-year plan. Responsible for property tax management. Responsible for equipment insurance and appraisal management. Responsible for quarterly income tax estimates and assist outside tax accountants with annual tax returns and IRS audits. Prepare annual asset retirement obligations for final reclamation and mine closure and all other duties as assigned.
REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor s Degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field; or the equivalent combination of education and experience. Prefer one (1) year accounting experience but will train. A strong working knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP). Proficient with Microsoft Excel and Word, and experience with ERP systems and other computer applications. Demonstrate data analysis skills. Good business acumen.
OTHER REQUIREMENTS: Must be 18 years old for insurance. Must have a valid driver's license. Must be able to pass a drug screen, background check. Must be a high school graduate or equivalent.
WAGE: Pay will be discussed at interview.
SHIFTS: 40 hours per week. Days and hours will be discussed at interview.
JOB SITE: Craig CO.
