ManpowerGroup Inspector 2, Quality Control in Covington, Georgia

Our client in the manufacturing industry is seeking an Inspector 2, Quality Control to join their team. As an Inspector 2, Quality Control, you will be part of the Incoming Quality Control department supporting the inspection of finished goods and components. The ideal candidate will have attention to detail, good communication skills, and the ability to work independently.

Job Title: Inspector 2, Quality Control

Location: Covington, GA

Pay Range: $18.20 per hour

What's the Job?

  • Inspect incoming product (components, finished goods) in accordance with internal procedures and product specifications.

  • Accurately prepare inspection paperwork and result documentation.

  • Keep accurate and orderly records of inspections.

  • Prepare Non-Conformances (where appropriate).

  • Assist with sort and reprocessing activities.

What's Needed?

  • Minimum of 2 years quality experience, preferred.

  • Must be able to lift up to 35 pounds and use a pallet jack.

  • Proficient in the use of a personal computer with basic level of keyboarding skills.

  • Ability to use measurement equipment (e.g. Pin Gauge, Calipers, Micrometers, Tensile testing equipment).

  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
