SUMMIT CREDIT UNION Facilities Support Technician in COTTAGE GROVE, Wisconsin
JOB REQUIREMENTS: Description Summary Maintains all facilities in a state of excellence to ensure pristine appearance and are safe and provide positive environments for all employees and members. Conducts periodic mechanical maintenance and proactively identifies issues throughout the facilities that will improve the overall appearance and raise expectations. Provides outstanding service in handling all work requests and performs duties in a manner that supports credit union goals and vision. Expected Outcomes Maintenance requests related to life safety, HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems are prioritized to serve members and supporting departments Work ticket requests and facilities tech observations of building maintenance or repairs are prioritized into daily tasks: consisting of light duty electrical, plumbing, hvac, finish and carpentry, building appearance, and lighting and building system programming Snow removal is completed to maintain a safe environment for employees and members Facilities are painted, cleaned, and restored as needed, including exterior building maintenance Preventative maintenance program is used to help guide and prioritize work Inventory is conducted on materials and supplies Landscape maintenance inspected and basic upkeep initiated or reported Materials for departments are transported to other sites as needed Capability Requirements High school diploma or equivalent. Two years general maintenance, facilities or related trade experience; or combination of applicable work experience and education Professional oral communication skills necessary for communicating with members and employees Demonstrated ability to make rough estimates for materials and supplies. Knowledge of small motors and light machinery (i.e. snow blower). Valid driver\'s license. Ability to follow direction and work without close supervision. Basic math skills for estimating materials needed. Detailed oriented and ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks. Basic computer skills including Outlook email, Microsoft Word and Excel.
