We are seeking a skilled Security Assessment and Risk Management Analyst to join our team for a 15 month focused effort. In this role, you will conduct comprehensive security assessments on applications and cloud migration projects, ensuring they meet our company's security standards and policies. You will work closely with business stakeholders, technical staff, and governance teams to identify security risks and recommend mitigation strategies. The ideal candidate has experience in conducting application and cloud security assessments, specifically cloud migrations. Key projects: • Conduct Security Assessments: Perform detailed project security assessments (PSA) on applications and cloud migration projects to ensure compliance with company policies and industry standards. • Stakeholder Collaboration: Engage with business stakeholders, technical staff, and governance teams to understand project requirements and communicate assessment findings effectively. •Risk Management: Identify and evaluate security risks associated with applications and cloud migrations, and provide actionable recommendations to mitigate these risks. • Policy Adherence: Ensure all projects comply with company security policies and risk management processes. • Project Management: Manage multiple security assessments simultaneously, ensuring timely and accurate completion. •Leadership and Influence: Serve as a lead contact in supporting business stakeholders with project security assessment (PSAs) relying on influence and collaboration rather than authority. • Advocacy: Advocate for the business unit's needs while maintaining a strong emphasis on security best practices. Possibility for Extension or conversion: Extension yes as the project is likely to run further.
