Minimum/Required Qualifications M.S. degree in nuclear engineering or closely related field. Must be able to qualify as a Senior Reactor Operator within two years of hire and maintain the license for the duration of employment. Excellent communication and organization skills. Experience speaking in small and large groups. Must pass USNRC background check. Position Duties 60% Leadership for the TRIGA Reactor Operations Program 15% Promote the use of the reactor by developing new capacity of capability, collaborating with researchers on projects which utilize the reactor or having a research program of their own which utilizes the reactor. 10% Supervision 10% Prepare 10 CFR 50.59 Safety Analyses for review and prepare license and technical specifications amendments dealing with reactor operations. 5% Participate as a member of the Reactor Operations Committee.
