1) A Curriculum Vitae
2) A cover letter indicating how your qualifications and experience have prepared you to develop and teach honors colloquia. Honors colloquia are small (14-20 students), 1-2 credit seminars focusing on engaging and interdisciplinary topics for a diverse, accomplished, and dedicated group of undergraduates from multiple majors.
3) A document that includes (a) colloquium title (b) a detailed course description for the proposed colloquium that is appropriate for students. The course description should describe what your colloquium is about and what students will do and learn in the course (c) description of any required field trips (d) a description of how this colloquium offers experiential learning opportunities and satisfies the basic tenets of honors pedagogy (e) a syllabus and (f) campus/modality, i.e., Corvallis, Cascades, and/or E-campus. (Attach as Other Document 1, 2, or 3.)
You will also be required to submit the names of at least three professional references and their contact information as part of the application process.

Job Summary
The Honors College invites applications for one or more fixed-term, non-tenure-track part-time (less than .20 FTE ) Instructor positions to teach on a term-by-term basis for the 2024-2025 academic year. Some of these appointments may be considered for reappointment at the discretion of the Dean.
The Oregon State University Honors College (HC) is a degree granting authority within Oregon State University ( OSU ). The overall mission of the HC is to provide an innovative, enriched learning experience and a small college atmosphere to motivated, capable undergraduates, integrating students from all academic colleges and departments into a cohesive community. Admission to the HC is by application. The Honors College supports Oregon State University’s strategic initiatives advancing equity, inclusion, and diversity and is committed to providing employees with the resources and opportunities to understand and further these goals.
