Minimum/Required Qualifications Bachelor\'s degree from an accredited institution. Two or more years of full-time employment as a professional academic advisor in a college or university setting. Demonstrated experience coordinating programs or projects either as a member of a team or independently. Professional experience assisting diverse learners, including non-traditional, online, international students, and underrepresented groups. Demonstrated commitment to educational equity in a multicultural setting and a commitment to advancing the participation of diverse groups and supporting diverse perspectives. Demonstrated ability to work effectively with a variety of audiences (students, staff, faculty and administrators). Excellent written and oral communication skills (e.g., attention to detail, proofreading for accuracy, consistency, ability to lead presentations, interviewing skills, etc.). Demonstrated computer skills including proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
