Cortland Park Rehabilitation & Nursing RN Staff Educator, Full Time in Cortland, New York
Our new Nursing Leadership Team is seeking that special RN Educator that truly enjoys teaching the next generation of caregivers, and desires to work where their time makes a tremendous difference in the lives of the people Cortland Park serves. Our Educator will demonstrate enthusiasm in his/her work and will lead by example with commitment to the facility as a whole, and dedication to each student, staff member and resident. The RN Staff Educator will oversee day-to-day Staff Educational needs of the facility; Will assist in coordination of general orientations and floor orientations for new employees; Coordinates and conducts in-services; Maintains employee education files; Assist in development, review and revision of all policies and procedures relating to in-service education and C.N.A. rectification and re-certification.
Qualifications and Skills: Must be a NYS Licensed Registered Nurse and have experience in long term care and teaching.
NYS Train the Trainer and CPR Certified is preferred.
