Job Title: Press Brake Operator Job Overview: We are seeking a skilled Press Brake Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for setting up and operating a press brake machine to bend, form, and fabricate metal workpieces according to precise specifications. The Press Brake Operator must have a strong understanding of sheet metal work and be proficient in using precision measuring instruments. Responsibilities: - Set up and operate press brake machine to bend and form metal workpieces. - Read and interpret blueprints and engineering drawings to determine the appropriate bending sequences. - Perform quality checks using precision measuring instruments such as micrometers. - Adjust machine settings to ensure accurate product dimensions. - Inspect finished parts for quality and accuracy. - Work with sheet metal materials to produce components. - Utilize hand tools for finishing workpieces as needed. - Maintain a clean and safe work environment. Experience: - Proven experience as a Press Brake Operator or similar role. - Familiarity with CNC machines is a plus. - Knowledge of electrical discharge machining (EDM) techniques is advantageous. - Experience operating a forklift is preferred. Skills: - Proficiency in operating press brake machines. - Strong understanding of sheet metal fabrication techniques. - Ability to use precision measuring instruments effectively. - Knowledge of welding processes is beneficial. - Familiarity with hand tools commonly used in metalworking.
