We are looking for a dedicated Sr. Accountant to join our team in Corpus Christi, Texas. In this role, you will be responsible for project accounting duties. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic environment with the potential for growth and development.

Responsibilities:

• Manage the general ledger, inputting data, verifying its accuracy, and generating reports as needed.

• Utilize Microsoft Excel to analyze financial data and create detailed reports.

• Oversee the month-end close process, ensuring that all financial data is recorded accurately and in a timely manner.

• Implement and manage the accounting close process, coordinating with other teams as needed to ensure efficiency and accuracy.

• Perform various accounting functions, including project accounting and work-in-progress (WIP) accounting, to ensure the financial health and profitability of the organization.

• Conduct ad hoc financial analysis as needed, providing insights to support decision-making processes.

• Maximize profitability through effective financial management and analysis, identifying opportunities for improvement and implementing appropriate strategies.

Requirements

• The candidate must have at least 3 years of experience in a similar role as a Sr. Accountant.

• Proficiency in using Microsoft Excel for financial analysis and reporting tasks is required.

• The candidate must have experience with Month End Close and Accounting Close Process.

• Experience in Project Accounting is necessary.

• Knowledge of WIP - Work In Progress processes is required.

• The candidate should have skills to Maximize Profitability for projects.

• Experience in performing Ad Hoc Financial Analysis is necessary.
